While having a clear out I found a very small number of this "banned" version of this release that Optimo Music was forced to cancel and then all copies were destroyed due to the title infringing on the copyright of a certain compilation series. There are about 25 copies of this on the planet and these copies are the last survivors. This will never be available again (unless someone with one of the very few copies sells one). It was later released as [Cease & Desist] DIY (Cult Classics From The Post-Punk Era 1978-82) - different title and totally different packaging.
These original copies come as 2 x LPs housed inside a 24"x 24" fold-out poster which features liner notes and images and which is in turn housed inside a custom made PVC wallet. Also included is an A4 full colour info sheet with details of original releases, including pictures of sleeve designs.
I am really hoping these go to loving homes rather than straight to resale, and decided to sell as I'd rather they brought some joy than remain stored away.
