"I possibly listen to Jamaican music in all its myriad forms more than any other music. I am nowhere near being an expert but a big chunk of all the music I buy originates from Jamaica or has Jamaican DNA at its core. It never ceases to amaze me that a country with half the population of Scotland has produced such a vast amount of amazing music across so many decades. That music has filtered down and influenced immeasurable styles of music across the planet and it is hard to imagine what the world of music I love would be like without the influence of Jamaican music, and Dub in particular. Its tentacles are everywhere.

This tape is a 90 minute mix of some of my very favourite, most joyous dubs, mostly from Jamaica and mostly 70s/80s but with one or two from other places and times. It is a Dub mix but also features lots of vocals and in many places I cut between vocal and Dub versions.” JD Twitch

I'm experimenting with how to make the series of mixes, that originally came out on tape in 2021, available. I have had lots of requests for this one in particular so thought I'd try making it available as a free / pay what you want release. Any money raised will be donated to Glasgow North West Foodbank who I have a long standing relationship with. Thanks!
